NiSi Filter Swift System FS ND Kit (8+64+1000) 40.5-49mm
A filter set for the Swift system featuring FS ND filters in ND8, ND64 and ND1000 strengths. These full spectrum filters provide neutral colours for realistic images. The glass features 24 multi-coating layers and a nano coating that repels water, grease and dirt.
Filter strengths and compatibility
The set includes three different filter strengths with colour-coded rings for easy identification. The blue filter is an FS ND8 (3 stop), the green is an FS ND64 (6 stop) and the orange is an FS ND1000 (10 stop). Using the included adapter rings, the system fits lenses with filter threads of 40.5, 43, 46 and 49 mm. NiSi Swift adapter rings are available for lenses with filter threads from 40.5 to 95 mm.
Construction and vignetting
The filter rings are made of aluminium and have a thin profile. A single FS ND filter can be used on Full Frame lenses with focal lengths down to 16 mm without vignetting. When combining two filters, the limit is 17 mm, and with three filters, it is 19 mm.
