A charging kit for LP-E6P batteries compatible with Canon EOS R5 Mark II, R6 Mark II, R7, R5, R6, R5C, R, as well as EOS 5D Mark IV, 5DSR, 6D Mark II, 7D Mark II, 7D, 6D, 5D Mark III, 5D Mark II, 60D, 60Da, 70D, 80D, 90D, XC10 and XC15. Each battery has a cell capacity of 2520 mAh, a nominal voltage of 7.2 V and a rated energy of 18,144 Wh. Two batteries can be charged simultaneously in the dual-channel charger in approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and LP-E6NH batteries are also compatible with the charger.

Charging and power supply

The charger uses USB-C with support for PD3.0, QC2.0 and QC3.0, accepting inputs of 5 V / 2.4 A, 9 V / 2 A, 12 V / 1.75 A, 15 V / 1.5 A; 22.5 W (Max). The rated output per channel is 8.4 V / 1 A. Five LED indicators per channel show the power level in 20% increments, and a red warning light activates at critically low levels. When using a 5 V / 2.4 A adapter, channel 1 is prioritised and the charger switches to channel 2 once the first battery is full.

Safety and features

An intelligent circuit monitors temperature and voltage to protect against overheating and over-voltage. Charging speed is automatically reduced during overheating, and power is cut off during over-voltage. Trickle charging is used near full capacity to preserve battery health. The batteries and charger are constructed from PC + ABS.
