This aluminium ball head is designed for large tripods and full-frame cameras.
The head measures 118 mm in height and weighs 675 g. The maximum load is 13 kg, while the recommended load is 8 kg. The tripod mount is compatible with both UNC 1/4 and UNC 3/8 inch threads.
Construction and function
Many components are machined from aluminium for high precision. The camera platform measures 62 x 48 mm and the base has a diameter of 64 mm. A 54 mm diameter ball provides stability for heavy equipment. A torque adjustment mechanism allows the ball resistance to be adapted to the weight of the gear. Panning is controlled via two stop buttons and can be adjusted independently of the ball movement.
