Velbon FHD-63D
This oil fluid head is designed for video cameras and digital SLRs equipped with general-purpose telephoto lenses.
The head weighs 642 g and supports a maximum load of 3 kg. It has a height of 95 mm, a camera platform of 58 x 40 mm, and a base diameter of 50 mm. The tripod mount is compatible with both UNC 1/4 and UNC 3/8 threads.
Features and control
A special viscous grease provides the constant and smooth movement required for video recording. The pan and tilt stoppers are positioned on the same axis on the side, allowing for easy one-handed control of both directions. The pan handle angle can be adjusted and the handle can be mounted on either side.
Plate and mounting
The QB-46 quick shoe allows for one-touch attachment and removal of the camera. The shoe plate can be mounted either vertically or horizontally to suit the shape of the camera or lens mount. A video boss is included to prevent rotation and ensure correct positioning of video cameras, though it can be pressed in for equipment without a boss hole.
