This aluminium ball head is specifically designed to fit between the legs of the UT-40 series when they are folded 180 degrees.
The head weighs 175 g or 182 g, has a height of 81 mm or 85 mm and supports a maximum load of 2 kg. The base has a diameter of 34 mm and the camera plate measures 43 x 28 mm. The tripod mount is compatible with both UNC1/4 and UNC3/8 threads.
Features and plate
An independent stop button controls horizontal panning while another is used to position the head at various angles. A torque adjustment mechanism allows the ball resistance to be set according to the weight of the equipment. For fast camera mounting, the QB-42 quick release plate is used, which can be attached both vertically and horizontally.
The camera screw on the plate can be tightened without the use of extra tools.
