NiSi Square Filter Explorer 150x170mm Reverse GND4
A reverse graduated neutral density filter with an ND4 / 2 stop (0.6) strength and dimensions of 150×170 mm. This filter balances significant brightness differences between the sky and the landscape, which is useful for compositions where the light is most intense near the horizon and gradually decreases upwards.
The glass is made from B270 tempered glass, making it twice as durable as standard glass filters.
Fit and construction
The filter is compatible with the NiSi 150 mm filter system. A hardening process reduces the risk of the glass breaking if dropped, although it is not unbreakable and the hardening can decrease over time.
- Reverse GND4 / 2 stop (0.6) effect
- B270 tempered glass for increased durability
- Nano-coating against dirt, water and oil
- IR-coating to prevent colour cast
