SmallRig 3666 Baseplate for Sony A7 IV
A baseplate for Sony Alpha7 IV designed to improve grip and protect the camera body from scratches.
The plate mounts to the bottom of the camera using a 1/4″-20 screw and a mounting pin to prevent rotation. Integrated silicone protection prevents scratches on the housing. A locking knob by the battery door is shaped to provide space for the pinky finger, while the side is covered in genuine leather to integrate with the camera body.
Mounts and compatibility
The bottom features a built-in Arca-compatible quick release plate for fast switching between tripods, handheld shooting, and DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, and RS 3 Pro stabilisers. Several 1/4″-20 threaded holes also support tripod quick release plates and the pads on DJI RS 2 and RSC 2. A built-in magnetic spanner is included for assembly and disassembly.
The baseplate is constructed from aluminium, stainless steel, silicone, and leather. It measures 132 x 65 x 12 mm (W x H x D) and weighs 90 g.
