SmallRig 5198 HawkLock Quick Release Cage Kit for Sony A 7C II / 7CR

A cage for the Sony A 7C II and 7CR that utilises the HawkLock system for the rapid mounting of compatible accessories such as top and side handles.

Mounting and grip

The cage is secured to the camera via a three-point locking system, consisting of a 1/4″-20 screw on the bottom and two mounts on the sides. Silicone pads at the base protect the camera from scratches. An articulated arm near the battery compartment provides additional support for the pinky finger.

Mounting points and connections

Available interfaces for accessories include several threaded 1/4″-20 holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 mounting holes, a NATO rail, and a cold shoe mount for microphones or lighting. An HDMI cable clamp with a tool-less attachment is located on the left side. For straps, there is a QD socket as well as mounts on both sides and the bottom.

Tripod and stabiliser

The integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate is compatible with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro and RS 5. The bottom 1/4″-20 hole allows mounting on tripods or DJI RS stabilisers via a quick release plate for DJI RS Mini. The cage is also compatible with the SmallRig eye shell (4819).
