This bottom mount plate is designed for the Sony A7CII and A7CR. It attaches to the camera using a 1/4″-20 screw and a raised edge, while integrated pads prevent twisting and scratches on the camera body.
Compatibility and grip
The hinge arm at the battery door follows the curve of the camera to provide space for the pinkie finger. The front is compatible with the SmallRig Horizontal-to-Vertical Mount Plate 4424. The bottom section includes a QD socket for QD shoulder straps and mounting holes for the SmallRig 3848 hand strap.
Quick release and weight
The underside features an Arca-type quick release plate that supports the SmallRig Arca-Type Quick Release Plate 3154 and DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro and RS 5 gimbals. It is also compatible with the quick release plate for DJI RS 2 and RSC 2. The plate weighs 62 g and includes a magnetic wrench for assembly and disassembly.
