Think Tank MindShift Rotation Pro 50+L Backpack

Think Tank MindShift Rotation Pro 50+L Backpack

This backpack from the Rotation series has a total volume of 50 litres and features Rotation180 technology for rapid camera access.

The integrated 10 L belt pack can be rotated to the front of the body, making the camera available in 3 seconds without removing the bag. The belt pack fits a mirrorless or DSLR camera kit with 3-5 lenses, or a 70-200 mm f/2.8 attached to the body. The belt pack can also be separated from the backpack. Access is provided via a magnetic one-handed opening and secured with a zipper.

Compartments and storage

The main compartment has a 40 litre capacity for personal items. By using the extendable collar, the volume increases by 6 litres, providing a total capacity of 56 litres. A padded sleeve in the front pocket fits a laptop up to 16 inches or a 3 L hydration reservoir. Extra equipment is accessible via the back. The bag also includes a top pocket, a large side pocket that fits most 1.5 L water bottles, a jacket-sized front pocket, and a waist belt pocket.

Carrying system and gear

Weight is transferred to the waist belt via a system that moves with the hips. The harness features 10 adjustment points and a Zone harness for airflow and breathability. Torso height is adjustable to fit various body sizes. Tripods can be attached to the side panels or the front. For additional gear, there are loops for ice axes and trekking poles, as well as Daisy chain attachment points. A floating top pocket allows a jacket or rope to be secured underneath.
