This backpack is designed for travelling outdoor photographers and can accommodate two gripped DSLR cameras with six to eight standard zoom lenses and one to two flashes. It fits a 600 mm f/4 lens when detached or a 500 mm f/4 lens when mounted. The pack is carry-on compatible, though users should check current airline requirements.

Compartments and storage

The front pocket includes a padded sleeve for a tablet or laptop, fitting most 16-inch models. This front pocket is expandable to hold items such as extra layers, a light jacket, headlamp, gloves, and chargers. A removable floating zippered pocket is located on top, while two large side pockets with drainage and security cords hold water bottles or accessories. A large zippered side pocket provides additional storage, and internal mesh pockets are available for filters, batteries, and cables.

Carrying system and construction

The contoured harness features 11 adjustable points to fit most men and women. A shaped aluminium torso stay provides extra support, and the shoulder straps and waist belt can be wrapped to the front for storage in the main compartment. The chest strap buckle includes an integrated whistle. For easier lifting, grab handles are positioned on three sides, and a mounting system for tripods or monopods is located on the front or side.

Materials and dimensions

The exterior fabric features a water-repellent coating with a polyurethane coating on the underside for water resistance. Materials include 840D matte TPU Dynatonic nylon, and the bottom panel is made of ballistic nylon for durability on rough surfaces. It uses YKK RC-Fuse zippers. An included rain cover also protects small to medium tripods attached to the front.
