SmallRig 5653 Intelligent V-Mount Battery Adapter Plate (Basic Edition)

A battery adapter plate for universal standard V-Mount batteries designed to manage power supply to multiple devices simultaneously.

The plate integrates into 15 mm rod systems via a 1/4″-20 threaded hole on the underside. The side features a dedicated mount for an optional screen protector bracket.

Power Management and Connectivity

The unit is equipped with four D-Tap inputs and one BP input serving as a backup. Power can be managed in combined discharge mode, where multiple batteries are used simultaneously, or in sequential discharge mode, where batteries are used one after another. Switch between these modes with a double-press of the side button.

To power devices such as monitors, video transmitters, cinema cameras, and lighting, there are three D-Tap outputs and one BP output. Each output delivers up to 100 W of constant power. A built-in 12 V auxiliary switching circuit ensures a stable 15 V output even when input voltage is low. A bidirectional USB-C port on the side supports up to 65 W for both input and output.

Monitoring and Operation

A digital display on top shows the status of all five inputs. When using the included D-Tap to D-Tap cable, a stable output of up to 100 W is maintained. This allows for the safe removal of discharged batteries and replacement with new ones without interrupting the power supply.
