SmallRig 5227 V-Mount Battery Mount Plate Kit

A battery plate for V-mount batteries used to power mirrorless cameras with flip-out screens. The USB-C port supports up to 65 W PD input, allowing the plate to function as a charger for V-mount batteries.

Power and connectivity

The plate features two USB-C ports and one D-Tap connection. These outlets are positioned so that multiple devices can be powered simultaneously without interfering with the camera or top handle. Several mounting holes for cable clips are provided for organised cable routing.

Mounting and adjustment

The base plate utilises an Arca-Swiss quick release mechanism for tool-free mounting. It is retractable to fit various sizes of mirrorless cameras and can be mounted directly onto most cages or L-brackets with integrated Arca-Swiss plates. A locking lever ensures compatibility with most Arca-Swiss quick release plates on the market. The plate can be rotated 180 degrees, with positions at 0, 90 and 180 degrees.

Protection and stability

A modular LCD screen guard can be adjusted in height and width without tools and fits most mirrorless cameras with a folding screen. A stainless steel locking mechanism and a damping system keep the battery securely in place during rotation. To prevent accidental battery release, the release button features a safety lever. The plate is equipped with several 1/4″-20 threaded holes and positioning holes for accessories such as magic arms for wireless transmitters.
