A cage for the Insta360 X5 that protects the camera from impacts and scratches without affecting the panorama stitching.
Mounting and access
The camera is inserted from the top and secured with a thumbscrew. Silicone pads on the inside prevent damage to the camera body. Side cutouts provide access to the battery without requiring the cage to be disassembled.
Accessory mounts
One side features a cold shoe mount and a 1/4″-20 anti-twist threaded hole for attaching lights or microphones. The bottom includes a foldable action camera mount and a 1/4″-20 threaded hole for tripods or selfie sticks.
