SmallRig 5059 Universal Tablet Cage for iPad
A cage designed for iPad, iPad Mini, iPad Air and iPad Pro with screen sizes from 8.3 to 13.0 inches, excluding the 12.9 inch 1st and 2nd generation iPad Pro. It is also compatible with tablets with a width between 134 mm and 216 mm and a length of ≤282 mm.
Mounting and protection
The tablet is secured using a slider design with rubber pads to prevent scratches. A magnetic slot on top provides easy access to the Apple Pencil. For desktop use, the cage includes an integrated adjustable kickstand.
Accessory mounts
The cage features 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes and a NATO rail for mounting accessories such as NPF adapters, external batteries and SSD mounts. A cold shoe mount and a strap slot are also included for additional equipment. The cage weighs 748 g.
