SmallRig 5009 Lens Backplate for iPhone 16 Series Cage 17mm Threaded
A lens backplate with a 17 mm thread for the iPhone 16 series used to attach external lenses to a cage. The backplate slides into the side groove of the cage for a stable installation and replaces the original T-mount backplate. The openings are positioned to ensure the built-in ultra-wide lens of the iPhone remains unobstructed.
Compatibility and materials
Constructed from rust-resistant aluminium alloy, the backplate weighs 15.2 g. It is compatible with SmallRig cages 5006 and 5008 for the iPhone 16 Pro Max and 16 Pro. It also fits cages 4827, 4828, 5001, 5002, 5005 and 5007, provided no smartphone case is used.
This product is not compatible with FilMov series trim rings or lens backplates. A manual is included in the box.
