This side handle provides an integrated grip solution for mobile video recording and is compatible with the SmallRig HawkLock Quick Release Ecosystem for smartphones.
Features and mounting
The handle is equipped with bilateral quick release interfaces for tool-free assembly and adjustment. Infinite rotation allows for switching between side handle and top handle modes, with the ability to lock at any angle. An integrated wireless remote control enables one-touch shutter release and recording, while a half-press controls focus and zoom. The remote is compatible with Android, HarmonyOS, and iOS 17.0 or later.
Storage and compatibility
The enclosure accommodates an M.2 SSD for recording 4K ProRes videos on a phone. It is compatible with SmallRig M.2 SSD units in sizes 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280.
