SmallRig 4571 Cage Kit for Sony BURANO

This cage kit is designed for the Sony BURANO to protect the camera body and provide multiple mounting points for accessories.

Mounting and attachments

The cage structure features integrated ARRI 3/8″-16 threaded holes, 1/4″-20 mounting holes, 3/8″-16 threaded holes, a QD mount, H21 NATO rails, and H18 cold shoes. An ARRI dovetail clamp is also included for professional equipment integration. The top handle and 15 mm LWS baseplate can be disassembled and installed without tools.

Features and components

The monitor mount replaces the original mount for quick switching between LCD and viewfinder modes and uses the HawkLock system for adjustment. A dual 15 mm rod clamp is positioned on top for handheld shooting and follow focus expansion. This configuration provides a lower centre of gravity than the 15 mm LWS baseplate, reducing pressure on the tripod head. An HDMI cable clamp and a wireless video transmission mount are included for signal stability. The 15 mm LWS baseplate features a quick release for fast mounting to the bottom of the cage.

The kit weighs 1818 g. It includes 15 mm rods and 15 screws of varying lengths.
