A lens support kit for wildlife photography compatible with Sony Alpha 9 III, Alpha 9 III+VG-C5, Alpha 7R V, Alpha 7R V+VG-C4EM, Alpha 7R IV, Alpha 7R IV+VG-C4EM, Alpha 7R III, Alpha 7R III+VG-C3EM, Canon EOS R5, EOS R5 + BG-R10, EOS R3, and Nikon Z9, Z8, Z 7II, Z 7II+MB-N11, Z6III+MB-N14.

Construction and mounting

The base plate combines a Manfrotto 501PL quick release plate with a double rod clamp. The camera body connects to the rod system via a hinge. A three-point support between the camera body, camera mount, and lens provides stability for lateral movements. The lens support features a wheel construction that allows freedom of movement regardless of the focus ring position. A hole for a lens strap is integrated into the support.

Compatibility and capacity

The system fits Sony lenses SEL600F40GM, FE 400 mm f/2.8 GM OSS, SEL14TC, and SEL20TC. For Canon, it supports RF400 F2.8 L USM, RF600 F4 L USM, RF800mm F5.6 L USM, and RF1200mm F8 L USM. Nikon lenses NIKKOR Z 400 mm f/2.8 TC VR S, NIKKOR Z 600 mm f/4 TC VR S, and NIKKOR Z 800 mm f/6.3 VR S are also compatible. The entire kit can handle a load of up to 6 kg.
