A half cage for Sony A6700, A6600, A6500 and A6400 that provides full access to buttons and dials.
Mounting and protection
The cage is attached to the camera using a 1/4″-20 screw on the bottom and an M2.5 screw on the left side. Integrated protectors prevent scratches on the camera body. It is not compatible with Sony A6600, A6500 or A6400 if the Sony HVL-F32M or ECM-W2BT is mounted.
Accessory mounting points
For accessories, the cage features 1/4″-20 holes and ARRI 3/8″-16 holes for SmallRig top handle 3765 and side handle 2913. An upper ARRI 3/8″-16 hole fits the SmallRig monitor mount 2903. Cold shoes are available for microphones and LED video lights. A NATO rail is included for the SmallRig rotating NATO handle (left) 3260. The bottom includes a QD socket for shoulder straps and a wrist strap hole compatible with SmallRig Hand Strap 3848.
Plate and weight
The bottom features an Arca-Swiss quick release plate. This supports DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro as well as the SmallRig Arca-Type Quick Release Plate 3154. The cage weighs 104 g and comes with a magnetic hex key.
