SmallRig 4257 Cage Kit for Sony ZV-E1

A cage for the Sony ZV-E1 that protects the camera body and provides multiple mounting points for accessories. The cage is secured using a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom and a side-locking adapter on both sides. An integrated silicone handle is included for an ergonomic grip.

Mounting points and accessories

Two cold shoes are available for equipment such as microphones and LED lights. For the Top Handle 3765 and Side Handle 2913, there are 1/4″-20 threaded holes and ARRI 3/8″-16 holes. An upper ARRI 3/8″-16 hole is compatible with the Monitor Mount 2903. Shoulder straps can be attached via the QD socket at the bottom or the strap slots on the sides and bottom, which are compatible with the hand strap 2456 and shoulder strap 2428.

Plate and cable clamp

An Arca-Swiss quick release plate is integrated into the base. This supports Arca-type tripods as well as DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro and RS 5 stabilisers. An included HDMI cable clamp mounts to the left side of the camera with a 1/4″-20 screw and two anti-twist pins to protect the port.

The cage weighs 174 g and maintains full access to the battery, card slot and controls. A magnetic Allen wrench is provided for assembly.
