This handheld kit for the Canon EOS C70 consists of a half cage with an accompanying handle and accessories.
Construction and mounting
The half cage is assembled from a top plate, a side plate, and a bottom plate. The base comprises a bottom plate and a detachable extended bottom plate.
Mounts and accessories
For mounting additional equipment, the kit provides 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes, NATO rails, and cold shoe mounts. These support SmallRig Side Handle 3260/2093/2427, top handles 2165/1638, magic arm 2115/2071, monitor mounts 3601/2903/2905, base plate with double 15 mm rod clamp 1674, and single rod clamp 3276 mm. The top plate is compatible with the original camera handle and microphone holder unit. The kit includes a NATO top handle 2439 and an HDMI cable clamp 1639 to prevent signal loss. Full access to the camera buttons and original grip is maintained.
The kit weighs 350 g. An Allen key is included for assembly and disassembly.
