This silicon gear is designed for lenses on DSLR and mirrorless cameras and is compatible with the SmallRig 3010 and 3850 series follow focus.
The lens is driven directly through friction without the use of gear rings. It is only compatible with standard M0.8-43T gears. For cine lenses, a compatible lens gear ring should be used instead of the silicon ring.
Driving force through friction is limited and is not suitable for gear rings, as this may cause slipping. Ensure that the silicon ring and the lens are fitted tightly together, especially when using zoom lenses with strong damping.
