A fluid-damped aluminium video head built for professional filming with a load capacity of up to 10 kg.
The unit weighs 2500 g. Panning is possible across 360 ° and the tilt range is 155 °, spanning from -65° to +90°. Two spirit levels are included to keep the equipment balanced.
Adjustment and Balance
The counterbalance system features 7 steps, allowing the camera to be stopped in any desired position. Damping for panning and tilting can be adjusted in 3+0 steps. The counterbalance adjustment is not stepless, meaning the addition or removal of accessories may affect the balance.
Plate and Mounting
A side-loading system allows equipment to be inserted from one side. After mounting, there is a 30 mm forward and backward adjustment range, which is useful for telephoto lenses. The plate is Manfrotto type. The head mount is a 75 mm bowl or 3/8″.
Handle and Operation
The included 75 mm half-bowl handle can be mounted or released in 2 seconds by turning the handle two rotations and pressing a button. The head operates in temperatures from -30 to +70 °C.
