A tripod kit for professional outdoor video and photo that combines carbon fibre legs with a fluid-damped video head.
The maximum height is 174 cm with the S3 video head mounted, while the minimum height is 29.5 cm. The tripod legs support up to 8 kg.
Legs and construction
The legs are made of carbon fibre with a maximum tube diameter of 30.3 mm. A twist lock allows two leg sections to be adjusted simultaneously with a single turn. The levelling base can be adjusted up to +/- 15° via a lock. The legs are modular and detachable.
The triangular centre column can be raised by 32 cm, inverted for low angles, or removed completely. A hook for hanging weights is included for increased stability. The feet are supplied as both rubber feet and metal spikes.
S3 video head
The video head is made of aluminium, weighs 0.76 kg, and has a maximum load capacity of 6 kg. Fluid damping provides a tilt from -50° to +90°, and the head automatically returns to the starting position. Panning is 360°. A 3/8-inch threaded hole for accessories is located on the side.
The S3 features a system to switch between a Manfrotto-type QR plate and a QR plate for the DJI RS series with a single press. The block position can be adjusted to fit different plates.
