Peak Design Field Plate
A quick-release tripod plate designed for Peak Design tripods and most ARCA-compatible tripod heads from other manufacturers. The plate is also compatible with Capture V3, but not with version V1 or V2.
The stainless steel connection screw pops up with the press of a button and lies flat when not in use. This mechanism allows the plate to be attached and removed without tools. A compression-moulded non-slip rubber pad prevents the plate from twisting against the camera body. The plate includes four Anchor loops for use with Peak Design camera straps.
Materials and construction
The plate is CNC-machined from anodised aluminium. The actuation button is made of glass-reinforced polycarbonate. The connection screw is in a fixed position and does not have a sliding slot for repositioning.
