NiSi Matte Box C5 Kit – Cinema Kit
A lightweight matte box designed for cinema lenses with a 95 mm outer diameter, which can also be mounted on lenses with filter threads of 67, 72, 77 or 82 mm using the included adapter rings.
Filter management and optics
The system features two filter slots: one for 4×5.65″ cinema filters and one for 4×4″ cinema filters or 100×100 mm square filters. The aluminium alloy frames include an anti-off design. An internal depth of 26.5 mm prevents glare, and the construction allows the use of ultra-wide-angle lenses down to 15 mm without vignetting on full frame.
Construction and details
The top flag is made of carbon fibre and can be opened 180°. Side air gaps are integrated into the design to reduce wind resistance. The matte box is constructed from aluminium, composite plastic and carbon fibre, with a total weight of 350 g.
