A UV filter for the Nikkor Z 800mm F6.3 VR S that absorbs ultraviolet light and reduces blue casts when shooting photos or video in daylight. The filter is made of optical glass for high colour fidelity and clarity, allowing approximately 98.5 % of visible light to pass through. A coating on each glass surface reduces reflections and ghosting while remaining water- and oil-repellent.
Construction and fit
This filter features a matte black glass edge to prevent stray light and requires no exposure adjustments during use. A patented internal expandable construction protects the lens from impacts and scratches. The filter is compatible with the lens front cap and lens hood.
It comes with an adapter ring that is secured to the front of the lens with four small screws. Ultraviolet light is absorbed by 28 % at 395 nanometres and is progressively eliminated 100 % before this point.
