Security and Access
The combination of encryption and NFC authentication prevents unauthorised access to data. You can register a mobile device as a security key and unlock the drive by tapping your phone against the unit. To use this feature, the phone must support NFC and be unlocked via the Lexar App.
Design and Durability
The drive features a slim, magnetic MagSafe design that attaches directly to an iPhone. It is rated for 2-metre drop protection based on internal testing. An internally developed controller improves stability and lowers power consumption.
Automatic backups of photos, videos and Live Photos are available via the Lexar App. The app is currently not compatible with HarmonyOS and does not support the backup of iCloud content.
