Speed and compatibility
For SD and microSD cards, the read speed reaches up to 312 MB/s, while CompactFlash cards reach up to 160 MB/s. The reader supports UDMA 7 and is backwards compatible with SD UHS-I cards up to 170 MB/s as well as USB 2.0. The interface is USB 3.1, but it also works with USB 2.0 ports.
Design and operation
The reader requires no external power source and weighs 99.8 g. The unit measures 80.0 x 89.2 x 21.5 mm (W x H x D). It includes a USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable.
