Laowa Venus Optics KX-800 Flexible Macro Twin Flash
A twin macro flash designed for most camera systems via a standard hot shoe, specifically for macro and close-up photography. It features two flash heads with fully flexible arms and a guide number of 58.
Light and control
The colour temperature is 5600 k and the flash time ranges from 1/200 s to 1/20 000 s. Power is set manually in eight levels from 1/128 to 1/1, and high-speed synchronisation is supported on compatible cameras. The flash heads can be rotated horizontally between 0 and 270 degrees. A third arm is available for an LED focus light, though the light is sold separately.
Power and dimensions
The flash is powered by 4 x AA batteries, which are not included. When using alkaline cells, the recycling time is approximately 2–5 s and the capacity allows for 100–1 500 flashes. Dimensions are 76 x 98.9 mm.
