Laowa 9mm T2.9 Zero-D Cine Lens
A 9 mm cine lens with a T2.9 aperture designed to minimise optical distortion in straight lines. The ultra-wide 9 mm perspective provides an expansive 113° field of view for dynamic wide-angle filming. The optics consist of 15 elements in 10 groups, including two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements.
Aperture and focus
The aperture features 7 blades, and the T2.9 brightness provides performance in low light. For precise adjustments during filming, standard 0.8 mod gear rings are used for focus and aperture, allowing the lens to integrate with follow-focus systems and cinema rigs.
Minimum focus and construction
The minimum focusing distance is 12 cm and the maximum magnification is 1:7.5. The housing is built from robust metal and weighs 247 g with dimensions of 54 x 62.4 mm. There is a 55 mm filter thread at the front.
