Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Lite Zero-D FF (14 Blades, Manual Focus)
An ultra-wide angle 12 mm lens with f/2.8 for full-frame mirrorless cameras providing a 122° angle of view. The optics are designed to minimise distortion, ensuring scenes are captured with high accuracy without the need for post-processing correction.
Optics and aperture
The construction consists of 16 elements in 9 groups. The maximum aperture of f/2.8 provides good low-light performance and a shallow depth of field. This version features 14 aperture blades for smoother bokeh and can be stopped down to f/22. A faint operational sound may be audible during focusing when the aperture is stopped down.
Focus and close distance
The lens features manual focus and a close focusing distance of 14 cm. The maximum magnification is 0.21 x.
Construction and dimensions
The barrel has a diameter of 77.2 mm and a length of 76.5 mm. A 72 mm circular filter thread is integrated for the use of filters such as CPL or ND. Weight varies by mount between 377 g and 480 g, with the AF Z weighing 390 g and the MF L weighing 475 g.
