A mobile backup kit for photographers and videographers consisting of a two-bay docking station, an SD/microSD card reader, and a 2 TB portable SSD.

Management and speed

The docking station bays support 10 Gb/s speeds for transferring high-resolution images, 4K/8K video, and other large files. The portable SSD features a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface with sequential read speeds up to 2000 MB/s and sequential write speeds up to 2000 MB/s. Two additional 10 Gb/s USB-C ports allow the connection of smartphones or other devices for backup.

Power and construction

A removable 5000 mAh battery provides up to 4.5 hours of operation. The battery is charged via the USB-C port, which can also be used to charge other devices. USB-C input is 5 V⎓3 A, 9 V⎓2.2 A, 12 V⎓1.67 A and USB-C output is 5 V⎓3 A, 9 V⎓2.2 A, 12 V⎓1.67 A with a total output of 5 V⎓3 A Max. The aluminium body provides heat dissipation and is scratch-resistant. Operating temperature is up to 40 °C and storage temperature is -20 °C to 85 °C. The system is compatible with Windows 10/11, macOS 11 or later, and phones with USB-C. Files are managed via phone, computer, or the Lexar app.
