Oil fluid head designed for video cameras and digital SLR cameras with video capabilities.
The head weighs 495 g and supports a maximum load of 2.5 kg. It has a height of 84 mm, a platform measuring 58 x 40 mm, and a base diameter of 44 mm. The tripod mount uses a UNC1/4 screw.
Features and handling
A special viscous grease provides the smooth and constant movement required for video recording. The pan and tilt stoppers are positioned coaxially on the side for easier one-handed control. The pan handle can be moved to the opposite side as needed. This head cannot be used in vertical position.
Plate and mounting
The QB-46 quick shoe allows for fast camera attachment and removal. The shoe plate can be mounted either vertically or horizontally to suit the camera or tripod collar. For video cameras, a video boss prevents rotation and ensures correct positioning, though it can be pressed in for equipment without a boss hole. The camera screw is UNC1/4.
