This aluminium ball head is specifically designed for the Ultrek (UT) 40 series, although it can also be mounted on other tripods.
The head measures between 86 and 88 mm in height and weighs 210 g. It supports a maximum load of 2 kg. The base has a diameter of 35 mm and the camera plate measures 31 x 22 mm.
Construction and function
The head is manufactured using several precision-machined aluminium parts. A pan stopper allows the base to rotate independently of the ball joint. The camera is attached via a UNC1/4 thread and the head mounts to the tripod using a UNC1/4 thread.
Quick release plate
The QB-3 quick release plate allows for fast mounting and removal of the camera. The plate features a thin, compact design suited for small mirrorless cameras and compact digital cameras.
