Sirui Ballhead Quick Release
An aluminium ball head designed for tripod mounting via a 3/8″-16 threaded hole in the base. Models in the series include KS-10, KS-20, KS-30, KS-40 and KS-5.
The construction features a panning base with markings for manual 360 ° rotation. The tilt range is 180 ° and an integrated spirit level assists with horizon alignment. Friction levels can be adjusted and maintained to keep heavy equipment stable. The head is compatible with SIRUI AT, T-0S and A series reverse folding tripods.
Quick release system
The plate is side-loaded using a flip lock, allowing equipment to be attached with one hand. For added security, a safety bolt works together with the flip lock to prevent the camera from accidentally detaching. The system utilises an Arca standard quick release plate.
Plate and tools
The included TY-55KS plate features a built-in magnetic Allen key. This key is used for mounting equipment and for adjusting the tightness of the flip lock. A separate 360 panning Arca-swiss plate allows for horizontal angle adjustments even when the base is locked.
