SmallRig 4985 X-Touch Smart Triple-Proof V-Mount Battery X221

A V-mount battery designed for mirrorless cameras, video cameras, monitors, wireless video transmitters and LED video lights. It provides a capacity of 15 000 mAh (221,4 Wh) with a voltage of 14,76 V and a total nominal power output of 221 W. The dimensions are 145,2 x 92,0 x 91,5 mm and the weight is 1564 ± 10 g.

Ports and charging

The battery features eight ports on independent circuits: 2x BP ports, 2x D-Tap ports, 2x USB-C ports with 140 W PD fast charging, one USB-A port and one DC port. USB-C1 / USB-C2 support 5 V⎓3 A, 9 V⎓3 A, 12 V⎓3 A, 15 V⎓3 A, 20 V⎓5 A, 28 V⎓5 A; 140 W (Max), while BP / D-Tap1 / D-Tap2 handle 16,8 V⎓12 A (Max). An integrated BMS control chip allows for a full charge in two hours, and the LG cells support 140 W fast charging even at -15 °C.

Management and protection

A 2,0-inch HD colour touchscreen with a frosted anti-reflex surface displays status, while a mobile app allows for battery level monitoring, port management, location tracking and OTA updates. The housing, made of flame-retardant PC, silicone and aluminium alloy, is drop-resistant up to 1,5 m and IP54 rated against water splashes, rain or dust. Mounting options include 1/4″ and 3/8″ threaded holes and a backlight indicator for installation in low light.
