A matte box for mirrorless and cinema lenses designed to reduce glare under challenging lighting conditions. It attaches via an Adjustable 3-Point Locking Clamp that secures the unit to lenses with a diameter between 67 and 82 mm.
Filters and optics
The system utilises magnetic mounting for combinations of CPL and VND filters. The VND filter features a stepless adjustment range from 2 to 5 stops and includes a hard stop to eliminate X-pattern effects. The filters are constructed from HD 22-Layer Coated Glass with 22 layers of double-sided coating, covering the 350-700 nm wavelength range.
Design and compatibility
The construction is thin and lightweight to reduce the overall weight of the equipment. It is compatible with circular and square filters, as well as lenses with a focal length of 16 mm or greater for full-frame cameras. This matte box cannot be mounted on mirrorless lenses with a diameter exceeding 88 mm, cinema lenses over 85 mm, or used with 4×4″ filters.
