SmallRig 5257 Cage for Nikon Z5II

This cage is compatible with Nikon Z5II, Z7, Z6, Z7II, Z6II and Z5. The camera is secured using a three-point locking system consisting of a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom and dual side locating blocks, while integrated pads protect the body from scratches.

Expansion options

For accessory mounting, the cage features 1/4″-20 threaded holes, 1/4″-20 locating holes, 3/8″-16 threaded holes and ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes. A 1/4″-20 hole on the side allows for the attachment of single rod clamps, magic arms and side handles. A HawkLock NATO rail with quick release on the left side enables fast mounting of side handles. A cold shoe mount is available for microphones and lights, alongside a wrist strap mount and a QD socket for shoulder straps. Additional shoulder strap mounts allow the camera to be carried lens-down to prevent damage.

Tripods and power

The base integrates an Arca-Swiss quick release plate for direct mounting on Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, RS 4 Mini and RS 5 gimbals. To extend operating time, the cage can be paired with V-mount battery plates and V-mount batteries. An integrated double head wrench on the underside simplifies assembly and disassembly. The cage provides full access to the battery compartment, flip screen, ports and buttons.
