A rolling bag from the Airport series designed to maximise the amount of equipment in carry-on luggage, meeting the requirements for most international and US airlines.
Storage and access
The main compartment features reinforced dividers that support heavy gear and an expandable top lid that closes around large camera bodies. A lockable pocket contains dedicated padded sections for a laptop and tablet. Internal zipped pockets hold batteries, CF cards, filters and accessories, while the front pocket features stretch. A tripod socket pocket is located on the side.
Security and transport
The main compartment zippers are secured with TSA-accepted locks. The laptop compartment and the ability to secure the bag to an immovable object are protected by a combination lock and a high-strength coated cable. The retractable handle is user-replaceable, as are the wheels, wheel housings and feet. Grippy handles on all four sides facilitate lifting the bag from shelves and luggage compartments. For quiet rolling, 80 mm wheels with sealed ABEC class 5 ball bearings are used.
Materials and dimensions
The exterior is constructed from 1680D ballistic nylon with water-repellent DWR coating, polyurethane coating and rubberised laminate reinforcement. Rear corners are reinforced with Hypalon and the zippers are YKK RC-Fuse. A seam-sealed rain cover is included. External dimensions are 356 x 533 x 203 mm (W x H x D) and internal dimensions are 330 x 470 x 165 mm. The weight is 4400 g.
