This cage is designed for the Nikon Z 6III and serves as a protective shell with multiple attachment points for accessories.
Mounting and access
The camera is secured using a three-point locking system via a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom and two M2,5 screws on the sides. Built-in silicone pads protect the camera body from scratches. The cage is designed to ensure easy access to the battery compartment, screen, buttons, and card slots. A tool for assembly and disassembly is located at the bottom.
Expansion options
The cage features 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes as well as ARRI mounting holes. A built-in NATO rail on the left side allows for quick attachment of side handles. For straps, there is an integrated QD interface and mounts for wrist straps. A detachable accessory mount with positioning pins can be placed on the top or sides to attach lights and microphones.
Tripods and stabilisers
The bottom features an Arca-Swiss quick release plate compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, and RS 4 Pro gimbals. The cage weighs 170 g.
