SmallRig 5249 HPS99 Handheld Power Stick Kit

A handheld power bank designed for mirrorless cameras and COB LED video lights up to 100 W. It has a nominal capacity of 6800 mAh and 99 Wh with a voltage of 14.54 V, while the cell capacity is 27 200 mAh via eight 3400 mAh cells. The battery is built with LG cells and includes multiple safety protections.

Connectivity and power

The power supply features two USB-C ports and one D-Tap port. USB-C1 supports PD 3.0, PPS, and QC with a maximum of 100 W input and output (5 V/3 A, 9 V/3 A, 12 V/3 A, 15 V/3 A, 20 V/5 A), while USB-C2 supports the same standards with a maximum of 65 W (5 V/3 A, 9 V/3 A, 12 V/3 A, 15 V/3 A, 20 V/3.25 A). The nominal total output power is 100 W and the maximum discharge power is 145 W. The unit fully charges in 2 hours.

Design and mounting

The cylindrical housing made of aluminium, PC, and ABS is designed for a secure grip and features a display showing power consumption and remaining capacity in real time. For mounting, there is a 1/4″-20 screw on top and a 1/4″-20 threaded hole on the bottom. The load capacity is 5 kg and a QD quick-release interface allows the shoulder strap to be attached with one click.
