This rig kit is designed for the Canon EOS C50 Advanced Edition and allows for the integration of V-mount batteries to provide extended power supply.
Mounting points and attachments
The cage features multiple 1/4″-20 threaded holes and positioning holes for accessories such as side handles or magic arms. For mounting top handles or monitor brackets, 3/8″-16 ARRI positioning holes are provided. Integrated cold shoe mounts are available for lights or microphones, including compatibility with DJI MIC 2. Shoulder straps can be attached via the lower QD socket or the built-in strap mounts for wrist straps.
Handling and stability
An XLR handle extension rig includes additional mounting points with 1/4″-20 threaded holes, positioning holes, 3/8″-16 ARRI positioning holes and cold shoe mounts. A dedicated HDMI cable clamp secures connections to prevent accidental dislodging. A magnetic tool is located at the bottom for assembly and disassembly. The kit weighs 607 g and uses Arca plates.
