SmallRig 5502 Black Mamba Cage for Panasonic S1R II / S1 II / S1 IIE

A cage for Panasonic LUMIX S1R II, S1 II and S1 IIE that protects the camera body and provides mounting points for accessories.

Mounting and protection

The camera is secured using a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom and two locking blocks on the sides. Integrated silicone pads prevent scratches on the camera. Openings are designed to provide full access to all camera buttons and interfaces. A magnetic tool is included at the bottom for assembly and disassembly.

Expansion options

The cage features multiple 1/4″-20 threaded holes and ARRI 3/8″-16 positioning holes for attaching monitors, side handles and top handles. A NATO rail on the left side is used for mounting rotating side handles. A cold shoe mount on top is available for lights and microphones. The cage is compatible with the Panasonic DMW-XLR1.

Tripods and straps

A built-in Arca-Swiss base plate allows the camera to be mounted directly onto Arca-type tripods and DJI RS stabilisers including RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3 Pro, RS 3, RS 4 Pro and RS 4 Mini. Additional threaded holes enable the use of Arca-Swiss plates and quick release plates for DJI RS 2 and RSC 2. Shoulder straps can be attached via the QD socket at the bottom or the strap mounts on the sides and underside.
