SmallRig 5413 Cage for Canon EOS R1
A full-cover cage for the Canon EOS R1 that provides all-round protection for the camera body without obstructing access to its functions.
Mounting and stability
The camera is secured using a three-point locking system consisting of a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom and two side locking blocks. Integrated silicone pads protect the camera from scratches and prevent the equipment from twisting.
Plates and compatibility
Both the bottom and left side feature integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plates for Arca-type tripods. The bottom plate can be mounted directly onto DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro and RS 5 gimbals, allowing for fast switching between landscape and portrait orientations.
Expansion options
The cage provides multiple interfaces for accessories such as handles and straps. These include 1/4″-20 threaded holes, ARRI locating holes in 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16, cold shoe mounts, strap mounts and QD sockets. A detachable cold shoe mount is included for horizontal mounting in both shooting directions.
