A cage for the Nikon Z50 II that protects the camera body and provides multiple mounting points for accessories.

Mounting and access

The cage is secured at three points using a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom and locating blocks on both sides. Integrated silicone padding prevents scratches on the camera, and precision cutouts ensure full access to the battery compartment, ports, dials, and buttons. The design includes contoured support for the pinky finger to improve grip comfort during handheld shooting. A magnetic double-ended wrench is stored on the underside for assembly and disassembly.

Expansion options

Multiple 1/4″-20 threaded and locating holes are available for accessories such as side handles, HDMI cable clamps, and monitor mounts. The upper section features ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes for top handles and monitor supports. Two integrated cold shoes allow for the attachment of devices like microphones and LED lights. Shoulder and wrist straps can be attached via the strap slots or the QD interface. The cage also includes a NATO rail.

Tripods and gimbals

An Arca-Swiss quick release plate is built into the base for direct mounting on Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, and RS 4 Pro gimbals. The cage weighs 134 g.
