SmallRig 4785 Camera Cage for Blackmagic Design Cinema 6K
A cage for the Blackmagic Design Cinema 6K that secures the camera using a three-point locking system consisting of two 1/4″-20 screws on the bottom and one 1/4″-20 screw on top. Integrated silicone pads prevent scratches on the camera body, while precise cut-outs provide unobstructed access to the battery compartment, card slots, all interfaces and the folding screen.
Mounting points and accessories
The cage is equipped with 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes as well as ARRI mounting holes for attaching accessories such as top handles, side handles and monitor mounts. A cold shoe is available for microphones, LED video lights and SSD mounts 3272, 2343 mm. To prevent signal loss, cable clamps can be mounted in the threaded holes or ARRI holes. Two 1/4″-20 threaded holes on the handle prevent the camera from twisting during portrait shooting.
Flexibility and protection
A slider on the left facilitates the quick mounting of rotation handles and side handles. Shoulder straps can be attached via the strap mounts or the QD interface for quick release. The cage can be converted into a half-cage for easier balancing in gimbal setups. A magnetic hex key is stored in the base for mounting accessories. A lens mount adapter support protects the camera mount and is compatible with Sigma MC-31, Sigma MC-21 and similar adapters.
