SmallRig 4214 Cage for Canon EOS R50

A cage for the Canon EOS R50 that protects the camera body and provides multiple mounting points for accessories.

Mounting and access

The cage is mounted using a 1/4″-20 screw at the base and two side lock adapters. Rubber pads are included to prevent scratches on the camera. The design ensures full access to the battery door, card slots, buttons, dials, and the folding screen.

Accessory mounts

For attaching additional equipment, the cage features 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes, as well as ARRI 3/8″-16 mounting holes. These support accessories such as the SmallRig Top Handle 3765, Side Handle 2093, Monitor Mount 2903, and Magic Arm 3875. An upper cold shoe mount is compatible with the SmallRig microphone 3468 and LED video light 3286. The left side includes a built-in NATO rail for the SmallRig Rotating Side Handle 3260 and 3813, while a 1/4″-20 hole on the right side is intended for the SmallRig cable clamp 1693.

Tripods and gimbals

The base features an integrated Arca Swiss quick-release plate compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, and RS 5 gimbals. A QD socket is available for shoulder straps. The cage weighs 129 g. A tool is included for assembly and disassembly.
