SmallRig 3195 Cage for Nikon Z9
A cage tailored specifically for the Nikon Z9.
Mounting and protection
The cage is secured using a 1/4”-20 screw, mounting pins at the bottom, and through the shoulder strap hole on the right side. Internal rubber pads are placed at several points to prevent scratches on the camera body. A magnetic screwdriver and hex key are built into the cage for assembly.
Mounts and accessories
A cold shoe is located on top for attaching microphones and LED lighting. The frame features multiple 1/4”-20 threaded holes and ARRI 3/8″-16 mounting holes that support SmallRig Top Handle 2165, Side Handles 2093 and 2624, and Monitor Mount 2903. Two 1/4”-20 threaded holes on the front are designed for the SmallRig 15 mm Rod Clamp 942 to support lens supports, follow focus, and matte boxes. The cage is not compatible with the Nikon WR-R11 remote control.
An integrated Arca Swiss plate at the bottom allows for direct mounting to tripods. Additional 1/4”-20 threaded holes in the base enable the mounting of DJI RS 2 and RSC 2 quick release plates using two 1/4” screws.
